Street Youth Job Action (SYJA) Program

The Street Youth Joint Action program is an employment program offered through Directions Youth Center to give at risk and homeless youth an opportunity to gain job skills. Youth in the program earn money each day they work and are paid at the end of their shift (5hrs). Jobs include street garbage removal, graffiti removal, needle sweeps and safe disposal, event clean-up and other community cleaning services.
